That last part matters: a student who is anxious about being wrong in front of forty classmates will ask a question in their own living room — and that question is usually where the progress starts.
Our tutors work with the school's actual curriculum rather than a parallel syllabus, so lessons reinforce what's being taught this week while quietly repairing the foundations that were missed last year.

Diagnose
A short assessment finds the real gap — which is often two grades below the topic the student is currently failing.
Plan
We set a term goal, break it into weekly targets and pick the language of instruction that suits the student best.
Teach & practise
Weekly sessions of explanation, guided practice and independent work, with homework matched to the week's target.
Review & report

Who will be teaching your child
Every Alpha tutor clears the same four checks before they meet a student.
- Qualified in their subject. Relevant degree or teaching background — verified, not assumed.
- Proven classroom experience. Years of teaching, not a first-time tutor practising on your child.
- Language proficiency. Able to teach in Khmer, English or Chinese as the student needs.
- The right temperament. Patient with slow progress, and honest with parents about it.
